1 c. milk heated (bubbles at edge of pan)

1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

2 packages yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water

2 eggs
4 1/2 - 5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine Crisco, sugar and salt. Add milk when hot and let cool. Add cool milk mixture to water and yeast. Add 2 c. flour and beat 2 minutes. Add eggs one at a time beating 1 minute after each then 1/2 c. of flour at a time until stiff and longer tacky (approximately 2 1/2 - 3 c.). Knead well. Place in greased bowl, in warm spot covered with dish towel and let rise to double in size, punch down and let rise again.
Divide into 3 pieces. Roll each piece out to 14-16" circle. Brush with melted butter. cut into 8 pie shaped pieces. Roll from large end in and place point down on baking sheet. Cover with dish towel and let rise again.
Brush tops with melted butter and bake at 375º for 15 minutes and nicely browned.
