1 cup butter
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream oil, butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and stir in. Chill for easier handling if desired. Roll into teaspoon sized balls, roll in sugar. Press down lightly on cookie sheet with glass dipped in sugar (wet glass first). Bake 10-12 minutes in 350 degree oven.
