Directions: |
Directions:Turn crockpot on low while preparing ingredients. Spray with cooking spray.
Wash and peel potatoes. Cut into cubes and distribute evenly along the bottom of the crockpot. Open the bags of baby carrots and do the same. (If using large carrots, clean and slice them and distribute evenly on top of the potatoes.)
Place the chuck roast on top of the vegetables. Spread the powdered ranch dressing evenly on the roast and do the same with the powdered brown gravy mix. Then place the stick of butter on top of the roast. For a slightly thinner gravy, I sometimes add about a cup of water, but not more.
Place the lid on the crockpot and set it to cook on high for 6 hours or low for 10-12 hours. Serve over biscuits or with any other side you would like. |
