2 cups all purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
pinch salt
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 butter
1 egg with 3/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry cutter or two knives. Beat egg and water together in measuring cup and add to the dry ingredients.

Empty onto a floured surface and knead 10 times.

Pat down to 1 inch depth and cut out circles or squares.

Bake at 425 degrees for 12 min on sprayed cookie sheet.
