1 T. vinegar
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 t. salt
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts
Brown Butter Frosting:
1/2 c. butter
2 c. conf. sugar
2-4 T. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Put vinegar in cup and add evaporated milk and set aside. Beat butter until light, add brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Stir in nuts. Bake at 350* for 10 - 12 minutes. Cool and frost.
Brown Butter Frosting:
Melt butter stirring until it stops bubbling and is brown in color. Combine with conf. sugar and water. Beat and spread on cookies
