2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c ( 1 stick) Mrs Filbert's margarine
1 1/4 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c milk
2 medium ripe bananas mashed (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 c walnuts (if desired)

Directions:
Preheat Oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan; set aside.
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat Mrs Filbert's spread and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until blended, scraping sides occasionally.
Alternate adding flour mixture with milk until blended, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Stir in bananas and walnuts. Evenly spoon into prepared pan.

Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes on a wire rack; remove from pan and cool completely.
