Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. sour cream
3 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar, add eggs, sour cream, soda and extracts. Add flour (if more flour is needed to make the dough easier to handle use as little as possible.) Roll out the cookies, thinner equals more crunch, I prefer thicker for a soft chewy cookie. Cut and bake at 375º on lightly sprayed cookie sheet until light brown. May frost with royal icing. I like no frosting so I can dunk in milk. YUMMY!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Whenever I would go to Grandma Edna Smith's house, she usually brought out the homemade cookies. I always hoped they would be sugar.
I usually use special cookie cutters for the holidays. This is the recipe I use when the grandkids come to make cookies. We sometimes end with a tea party!
