6 bone-in chicken breast halves, skin removed
1 T vegetable oil
2 c fresh sliced mushrooms
1 med onion, halved and sliced
1 med green pepper, julienned
1 med sweet red pepper, julienned
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Hot cooked rice

Directions:

In a large skillet, brown chicken in oil on both sides.

Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Top with mushrooms, onion, and peppers. Combine the soups; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Serve with rice.

You can use boneless breasts if that's what you have. Also, I have just baked this in the oven with only one can of soup and it turned out fine. Bake covered for about 30 min then uncover for 15-20 min at 350º.
