9 Tbsp cocoa
3 Tbsp margarine
1 tsp red food coloring, optional
1/2 c shortening
2 c sugar
3 eggs
2 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, melt chocolate with margarine. Stir in food coloring if desired, set aside. In mixing bowl cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, add to the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Add chocolate mixture, beat on medium speed for 1 minute. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Can frost with buttercream frosting or caramel frosting.
