Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Soup bones
8 qts Water
Tomatoes (As many as you think would be good. The more the merrier)
2 stocks celery
2 carrots
Handful chopped green peppers
Whole onion
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1 small bunch fresh parsley
2 bay leaves
12 whole black pepper
3 or 4 potatoes, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
1. Add parsley, bay leaves, cut whole onion and whole black pepper to a soup ball and cook slowly with water and soup bones for a 3 or 4 hours. If you don't have a soup ball big enough, just cook the onion with the bones, straight in the pot. If there is meat on the bones, all the better.
2. Remove from heat, strain out bones, onion pieces and basically whatever you don't think you'd like to see in your bowl.
3. Return soup base to pot and add remaining vegetables spices and return to boil.
4. Continue cooking until potatoes are cooked, and you're ready to eat.
5. Serve over cooked noodles.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a basic recipe that can be a simple, home cooked soup. You can also use it and pretty much add whatever vegetable you think would be great in it.
I grew up eating this soup. I have since made a few changes. The potatoes being the biggest change. I think they make the soup heartier.
