1 1/2 lb. dry navy beans (3 cups)
9 cups water
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup catsup
1 cup brown sugar
1 additional cup water 1/4 lb. salt pork, ground or diced
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 Tbsp. dark molasses
1 Tbsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer beans in 9 cups water (unsalted). Allow to stand, covered for an hour and a half until softened; drain and put into crock pot.
Add all remaining ingredients, mix well.
Cover and cook on low 10-12 minutes. High for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally.
Simmer 30 minutes.
