"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a big bowl. Preheat oven to 250 degrees and oil aluminum foil over a cookie sheet (9x13).

Warm condensed milk in a large sauce pan, stirring constantly until it gets thinner. Add mixed ingredients into the sauce pan and stir, coating with the condensed milk. Spread the mixture into the oiled or foil pan and press down with a spatula to distribute evenly.

Bake for 30 - 60 minutes, until brown. Remove from oven and immediately cut into bars. Let cool on rack and place in cookie tin.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe was given to me by a teacher in my school who hated mornings and hated breakfast. She loved these and would snack on them during the day.
She got this recipe from Nigella Express by Nigella Lawson, and then I adapted it, adding walnuts instead of peanuts and adding Chia seeds.

Enjoy with a big glass of milk, or a cup of coffee. It will make your morning better!! These are better than any store bought "energy" bar!
