1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. rolled oats
1 t. vanilla
1 t. salt
1 package chocolate chips
1 t. soda dissolved in:
1 T. hot water
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs; mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for 10 - 12 minutes.
