"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

¾ cup of white sugar

Personal Notes:
I’ve tried various things with this recipe like using brown sugar versus white sugar, but I prefer the white sugar. I’ve also added raspberries to the peaches, which turns out pretty tasty. I’ve also used the “lite” canned peaches and that works fine too. You can’t really go wrong with the recipe. Enjoy!
