4 oz can sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
Pepper
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tall can evaporated milk
1 cup cooked chicken
13 oz can chow mein noodles
11 oz package asparagus or green beans
1 cup cheese (cheddar)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add drained mushrooms (keep liquid) & onions. Saute until onions are transparent. Remove from heat - add flour, salt, pepper & curry powder. Blend. Add enough water to mushroom liquid to make 1/2 cup. Blend in milk and cook until thick. Add chicken and noodles. Add asparagus or beans. Put in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
