2 1/2 C Sifted Flour
1/2 t Soda
3/4 t Salt
1/2 C Butter
1/2 C Shortening
1 C Sugar
1 t Vanilla
1 Egg
2 T Milk
Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, soda, salt. Cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add egg, beat well and then stir in dry Mix until smooth. Blend in milk. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass that has been dipped in butter, then sugar. Bake 400º for 12 minutes.
