3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks) softened
3/4 cup Crisco
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 t. vanilla
4 cups flour
2 t. baking powder
1 1/2 t. salt
5 T. grated orange peel
1 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine butter, Crisco, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla in large bowl until well mixed. 2. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; then add to butter mixture.
3. Add orange peel and pecans.
4. Roll into balls by tablespoon, and bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes.
5. Store in air-tight container.
