7/8 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Cream fat, sugar, and egg. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Add flavoring of choice.

Bake 35 minutes at 375º.
