2 lb ground beef, lean
2 eggs, slightly beaten
.5 c. cracker crumbs
.3 c. green pepper, chopped
.25 c. milk
.25 c. ketchup 1.5 tsp. salt
.25 t. pepper

Butter-BBQ sauce
.25 butter/margarine
.5 c. onions, chopped
.5 c. ketchup
.25 c. brown sugar
1.5 t. chili powder
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire
1 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
dash Tobasco

8 slices of onion

Beef Loaves:
1. Combine beef, eggs, crumbs, gr. pepper, milk, ketchup, salt, pepper.
2. Divide into 8 portions on double thick squares of foil. Shape into loaves.
3. Top each with onion slice & 2-3 Tbsp. Butter-BBQ sauce (follows)
4. Fold over foil separately and close up.
5. Grill 10 - 12 minutes on EACH side. Turn.

Butter BBQ Sauce:
Cook onion slices in butter. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes. (makes about 1 cup sauce)
