1/2 c. butter, softened
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 c. cornflakes, lightly crushed (1 1/2 c. crushed)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until well-blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Slowly add flour, mixing thoroughly. Add crushed corn flakes and mix well. Drop dough by level tablespoonfuls on greased cookie sheet about 3" apart. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown around edges and top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertip. Remove and cool completely.
