Virginia Corn Pudding Recipe

2 c. fresh corn
2 large eggs
1 c light cream
salt
cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. grated nutmeg
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. minced green pepper (optional)
1/2 stick of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cut corn, scraping all of the pulp off the cob. Mix corn with flour, seasoning, and pepper. Beat eggs lightly, add to corn mixture. Add cream and melted butter. Pour into baking dish and set in pan of warm water.

Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until custard is firm.
