2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 stick margarine
1 unbeaten egg
1 to 2 tsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Chocolate chips

1 can crushed pineapple, drained
2 tbsp corn starch
2/3 - 3/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, baking soda, margarine. Mix at low speed until mixture is coarse crumbs. Blend in the egg, vanilla, and milk.
Mix well to form a ball of dough. Chill for 1 hour for easy handling.
Combine pineapple, corn starch and sugar. Heat until thickened. Set aside to cool

Divide dough into 3 parts. Roll out on floured surface. Spread on pineapple filling and chocolate chips.
Roll tight as a jelly roll. Seal ends and place seam side down on a greased sheet. Bake at 350 for 15-17 minutes til lightly browned. Slice on diagonal and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
