3/4 c. butter
2 c. onion, chopped
2 c. celery, chopped
15-16 c. dry bread cubes
2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. thyme
Salt & pepper
2 tbsp. dried parsley
2-3 can chicken or turkey broth
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet and sauté onion and celery. Pour over bread cubes in very large mixing bowl. Add seasonings and toss well. Mix in enough broth to moisten; add eggs and mix well. Pack lightly into crockpot, cover cook on high 45 minutes; and then reduce to low for 4-5 hours. *Optional additions: mushrooms and pork sausage. *I add 1 lb. hamburger browned with the celery and onion.
