• 1 ½ cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup shortening
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• ¾ cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp hot water
• 2 cups oatmeal
• 2 pkgs chocolate chips
• 1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together sugars and shortening. Add eggs, water and vanilla. Mix well
2. Add dry ingredients, mix until combined. Stir in oatmeal and chips.
3. Bake at 350 for 10- 12 minutes
