1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 teaspoon lemon extract
2 cups flour
Tart jelly, such as currant

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Cream butter in a bowl. Add sugar, beaten egg yolks, and lemon extract and mix. When mixed, stir in flour.

Form into small balls. Make an indentation in the center of each and fill with jelly.

Place on greased cookie sheets and bake for about 15 minutes, until brown.

Note: If dough does not stick together, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk.

Note: Jelly can be added after about the first 5 minutes of baking.
