2 tablespoons pine nuts
2 tablespoons salt and 4 quarts water to blanch
1/4 pound broccoli florets
1/4 pound cauliflower florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons shallots, peeled and minced

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 475º. Toast pine nuts for 2-3 minutes on sheet pan in oven. Or, dry toast in sauté pan on stovetop.

Blanch and shock broccoli and cauliflower in salt water. Drain.

Heat oil in pan on medium-low. Sweat shallots for 2-3 minutes.

Add broccoli and cauliflower to pan with shallots. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Toss and sauté until heated through. Add pine nuts.
