1/2 gal. oil
1 1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 tsp. or more garlic powder
2 tsp. or more onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste

Pit should be 1 foot deep; start with 40 lbs. charcoal. When coals are hot move to sides and put grate on. Inject mixture every 15 minutes, add charcoal as needed; use meat thermometer to test for doneness.

Changing from the traditional way of roasting a hog Mike and Tim found an easier roasting method for the family reunion, July, 2016. Tasted awesome and was enjoyed by all.
