1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. (7.5 oz.) Heath Bits

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

In a stand mixer, beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined. Repeat with flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Once a dough has formed, mix in the Heath Bits.

Using a spoon, drop inch-sized balls about an inch apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for approximately eleven minutes, or until desired firmness.
