5 lb. flour
1 lb. butter
1/2 lb. Crisco
1 cup sugar
3 tsp. salt
1 pint sour cream
1 pint milk
4 pkg. yeast
1/2 cup lukewarm water
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Nut Mixture
3 lb. nuts
1 1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, butter, shortening with hands. Add sugar, salt, sour cream and milk.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; add to batter.
Beat eggs; add to batter.
Add vanilla.
Knead for 5 minutes. Cover dough with towel for 5 minutes. Knead for 5 minutes.
Cut dough into 10 to 20 pieces. Roll dough flat. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with nut mixture. Roll up. Raise for 2 hours. Brush nut rolls with egg yolks and water.
Bake at 350º for 15 to 25 minutes. Brush with butter.
