Ingredients:  
1/2 C. shortening
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
1 egg
11/2 c flour
dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1st 4 ingredients. Beat well then add egg. Mix flour and salt and combine with first mixture. Roll into small balls, then dip in sugar. Bake on cookie sheet @ 375* 10 minutes. I also submitted this recipe in the Cynthiana Grade School cookbook a few years ago!

Family Memories from Kent Brenton: I remember "walking the wall" in New Harmony in the mid-sixties. Except for the wasp stings, it was a great time. I loved seeing K.J., Mike, and Jeff and all the others every year!
