Ingredients:
Ingredients:
For one house:
1 box (cheap) plain graham crackers (keep an extra box handy for mistakes)
2 LB of confectioners sugar
6 egg whites (makes two batches)
cream of tartar
assorted candies, crackers, cookies, cereal
Milk carton or box
plastic platter

Directions:
Directions:
I use a 1/2 gallon milk/juice carton cut in half width wise and fit top onto bottom or the graham cracker box on its side. Use icing and glue bottom to platter. Glue graham crackers to outside with royal icing. Angles can be cut by scoring crackers gently and breaking.
Pre-build houses and let harden for about an hour.
Give kids an icing filled decorator and let them go wild!
Add icing overflow for icicles and to hide any rough edges as a last touch.

Royal Icing
----------------
Beat 3 egg whites w/1/2 tsp cream of tartar into a foam.
Gradually beat in one pound of confectioner's sugar.
Beat until stiff peaks form. (about 5 minutes)
Takes practice but the icing hides any house flaws so don't be too picky.
