3 C sugar
2/3 C light corn syrup
1/3 C water
2 egg whites
1 C chopped nuts
1 TBS vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, corn syrup, and water until it hardens when dripped in cold water. Beat egg whites until stiff in a large mixing bowl. Slowly pour syrup over egg whites, beating constantly. When candy begins to thicken, add pecans and vanilla.. Mix with a large spoon until candy begins to lose its gloss and hardens.Spoon onto buttered platters or waxed paper.
