3 eggs, separated
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup sifted cake flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.

Place egg yolks in electric blender container. Whirl until smooth. Add confectioners' sugar, boiling water, and vanilla. Cover and whirl on low speed until blended.

Sift cake flour and baking powder onto wax paper. With blender running on low speed, add flour mixture gradually. Whirl until smooth.

Add salt to egg whites in mixing bowl and beat until stiff. Fold blender batter into egg whites. Pour into nonstick 13"x9"x2" baking pan.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertip.

Cool cake in pan on wire rack.
