1 tbsp. Ground Cumin

Directions:
Directions:
1. Prepare 'rub' mixture ahead of time by mixing together dry ingredients and storing in an airtight container. (There is enough rub to do at least 24 pieces of meat, but you can also save extra rub for next time).
2. Rub chicken pieces with 'pre-prepared' 'rub' mixture, pressing into meat and skin. Roll a slice of bacon around each piece of chicken and fix with a toothpick. Stick one or two whole cloves into each piece of chicken.
3. In a separate bowl mix together the sauce ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Pre-heat grill to medium and have a water sprayer handy for flash fires!!!
5. Grill chicken, basting liberally with the sauce, until fully cooked and bacon is crisp. at least 10-12 minutes per side. (I always check with a meat thermometer to make sure chicken cooked through).
6. Remove chicken from grill and toss in the remaining sauce.
7. Serve immediately with large quantities of beer and wine.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This has been a very popular serving at Drouillard clan invasions of the far north outpost of Port Elgin. It is important to brief all eaters about the cloves and the cocktail sticks because I am sure they would just eat everything if left to their own devices because this stuff tastes so good. I have made batches of 24 and 36 pieces to match the demand!!!
