4 cps chicken stock
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 bay leaf

1 cp vegetables (frozen or fresh, if using fresh, precook)
1 cp diced cooked chicken
1 cp medium egg noodles (or cooked spaghetti, chopped)
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cp diced onion
1/4 cp diced celery

Directions:

Combine the first four ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Add the rest of the ingredients. Cook for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Discard bay leaf.

I usually use carrots for a vegetable. I dice them, cook them for about 7 minutes in boiling water, drain them and set them aside until they are added to the soup.
