1 brussels sprouts (2-3 cups)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons maple syrup
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
I like to place the brussels sprouts into a frying pan, sprouts cut in half and trimmed on the stems. Add the maple syrup and oil, s/p and turn on medium. Cover and shake every couple of minutes. Cook about 10 minutes.
OR:
Preheat oven to 400F.
Remove the stem and outer leaves.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the brussels sprouts with the olive oil and maple syrup. Spread the sprouts on a large baking sheet and bake at 400F for 20 minutes.
