Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 C finely chopped pecans
1/4 C Bourbon
1/2 C margarine, softened
1 TBS vanilla
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp salt
2 lb powdered sugar (plus 2 C powdered sugar if needed)
1 1/2 lb chocolate flavored candy coating

Directions:
Directions:
Soak pecans in bourbon 3 hours or overnight. In large mixer bowl, beat margarine, vanilla, and salt till fluffy. Gradually beat in milk, pecan mixture,
then powdered sugar until well blended. Shape into 1-inch balls and place
on wax paper lined baking sheets. Chill until firm. With toothpick, dip
each ball into warm candy coating. Let stand until firm.

--Layla's note-- I put more bourbon in these by family request. I put the whole
bowl in the fridge so I could roll them and kept the rolled ones in the freezer
so they wouldn't rip during dipping. To dip them I carefully poked the toothpick
into the side of the ball, placed the bottom of it in the chocolate and covered the top
using a spoon. Then carefully wiped excess from bottom and placed it on the sheet
and twisted the toothpick out of the side.
