1 pkg dry yeast
2 c warm water
1/4 c sugar
3/4 c shortening
1 egg
4 c self rising flour
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water, then stir in sugar. Beat in remaining ingredients. Grease muffin tin and spoon about one half full in each muffin. Bake in preheated oven at 400º for 10 minutes or until done. Batter may be kept in the refrigerator and used as needed for several days.
