1 head of cabbage
1 cup rice
1 pounds lean hamburger
1 egg
1 chopped onion
1 clove garlic, smashed
1 can sauerkraut
2 cans tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook cabbage in water until leaves loosen.
Soak rice in water while cabbage is cooking.
Mix meat, onion, garlic, rice and egg. Make into small balls and wrap in the cabbage leaves.
Put sauerkraut in the bottom of a large pan. Stack cabbage balls on top. Pour tomato sauce over all and cover with water.
Cook about 3 hours real slow!
