1 1/2 Cup Powder Sugar
1 Cup (2 sticks) Butter
1 Egg
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Almond Extract
2 1/2 Cups Flour
1/8 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Cream of Tartar
Colored sugar or sprinkles

Bake at 350º for 8 - 10 minutes

1. Beat together sugar and butter until light and fluffy
2. Add egg, vanilla and almond extract to above mixture
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar
4. Gradually add flour mixture to the butter mixture
5. Roll dough into 1 inch balls
6. Place on a lightly grease baking sheet
7. Dip bottom of drinking glass into colored sugar and use to flatten balls. (do not overflatten, or cookies will be too thin)
