1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cups shredded carrots
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl sift together all of the dry ingredients. Add to wet ingredients and mix well. Stir in shredded carrots and nuts.

Pour into two 9" round baking pans (greased and floured) and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown or toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool and frost with cream cheese icing.
