1 cup butter
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cups finely chopped pecans
1/4 tsp salt
Maraschino cherries well drained

Sift flour and salt topgether Add butter vanilla and pecans Chill dough Heat oven to 400º Wrap dough fully around each cherry Put on ungreased cookie sheet Bake for 10-12 minutes Set but not brown Roll in icing sugar X 2 Let cool
