2 sticks margarine
1 1/2 cups flour
5-6 cups milk
6-8 little jars dried beef (cut up)
bread (toasted)

Directions:
Directions:
SLOWLY melt margarine in medium sauce pan over very low heat.
Stir in flour. mix well and slowly add milk while continuously stirring lumps out. Stir very often scraping bottom and sides of pan and cook on very low heat. Continue to cook slowly until sauce thickens and then add cut up dried beef,
Serve over toast
If desired: add peas to sauce after sauce thickens.
