1 cup of butter
2 cups of white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup of vegetable oil (Crisco)
Pinch of salt
1 tsp of vanilla
5 cups of unsifted flour
2 tsp of baking soda
2 tsp of cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar.

2. Add the eggs, oil, salt and vanilla.

3. Slowly sift flour, baking soda and cream of tartar into the above ingredients.

4. Roll into a ball with your hangs and touch ball in sugar.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
