Personal Notes:
These cookies are Jim Fields all time favorite cookies. In the summer of 1971, Jim and Jama went on their first date, on a bicycle, to play miniature golf at Columbian Park, entering their freshman year at Lafayette Jefferson. During that same week, legend has it that Jama baked Jim a batch of her infamous cookies, and he was hooked for life!

Alison, Jordan and Jake also have fond memories of baking these cookies with Mom for Dad on Friday nights after Dad had been traveling for work all week. Sometimes, more often than not, all three children would get kicked out of the kitchen for starting and participating in flour fights. Yikes!!
