1/2 lb margarine (2 sticks)
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Red jelly-cherry, currant, or raspberry

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar to consistency of whipped cream. Add egg and vanilla, continue creaming. Add flour gradually.

With wet hands, roll dough into 1 inch balls. With your finger make depression in center and fill with jelly.

Bake 350º until brown approximately 15 minutes
