Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 tbs. butter, oil or drippings
2 tbs. flour
chicken or beef broth or milk
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the butter or oil or drippings from the meat. Add the flour and stir until smooth. Cook for 1-2 minutes just to get rid of the flour taste. Gradually add about 1 cup of liquid of your choice stirring to prevent lumps. Let it come to a boil (stirring occasionally) and add more liquid if too thick. Add salt & pepper to taste. If you need a large amount of gravy, you can use more butter & flour, just use the same amount of each.
