1 pint Half & half or Whipping cream or 1 can Carnation Milk
1/4 c Oil
2 1/2 tsp salt
5-6 C Flour (approx: just enough flour to make soft dough)

Meat filling:
1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 small onion, finally chopped
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dough ingredients, while gradually adding the flour to it. On a floured surface, kneed the dough into a long log shaped form. Cut into pieces. Approx 15-20 depending on the size of your dough piece. Let dough rest, covered while preparing meat filling mixture.

On floured surface, roll out dough piece into a circle. (Will resemble an apple turnover) Press meat mixture onto half of dough with a fork, leaving an edge so you can seal with water. Seal the edges and poke each side approx 3 times with a fork. This allows the grease to escape once you fry.

Fry in hot oil until golden brown, turning once. Allow to drip dry on paper towel. Enjoy with ketchup.

You can individually freeze uncooked. Make sure you thaw at least 20-30 mins prior to frying.
