3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter (softened)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/4 c. flour (or more -- dough should be stiff)
12 oz. semisweet choc chips
chopped black walnuts

Directions:

Cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs.
Add vanilla and almond flavorings
Add baking soda and flour.
When all mixed well, add choc chips and nuts

Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.

bake at 375º for 9-11 min.

The reason these are called "adult" chocolate chips cookies is because we would tell the kids they couldn't have any of Aunt Peggy's adult cookies -- just for adults. What made them adult was the black walnuts, but they didn't know that.
Just leave out the black walnuts and you have the basic choc chip cookie recipe. I've made these so many times, don't ever look at recipe.
