1 ½ Cup Sugar 2 Cups Flour
½ Cup Crisco shortening ½ teaspoon salt
3 ripe bananas mashed 1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs 1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ Cup milk 1 Cup nuts
Beat sugar and shortening until mixed. Add bananas and beat until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs.
Measure dry ingredients and add them alternating with the milk. Stir in nuts.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 about 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Frosting:
1 stick of butter (softened at room temperature)
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 – 6 Tablespoons of evaporated milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Add enough evaporated milk to get it to a spreading consistency.
